These Terms describe how voluntary Creator Support works in the BEON.RUN service from the perspective of a person who wants to support someone (the Supporter). The Service is operated by Radosław Balcerzak, balcerzak.it RADOSŁAW BALCERZAK, NIP 7631978291, REGON 300843692, ul. Słoneczna 11/B, 64-730 Rosko, Poland, e-mail [email protected] (“BEON.RUN”).
§ 1. What Support is
- Support is a voluntary payment to a verified Creator (Support Recipient) that you can make in connection with their public Activities, Streams or profile – regardless of the sport.
- Support is not payment for any performance. You receive no goods, services, content or perks in return, and the Support Recipient has no obligation to do anything (e.g. cover a certain distance, greet you or read out your message).
- Support is not a charitable or public collection. If the Support Recipient shows a goal (e.g. “a new bike”), they are responsible for it being truthful; BEON.RUN does not control how the funds are used.
§ 2. Whom you pay
- The payment goes directly to the Support Recipient through their Stripe account (Stripe Connect). The Support Recipient is the seller (merchant of record) of this payment – their name may appear in the payment form and on your statement.
- BEON.RUN is not a party to the payment and does not receive or hold the funds. BEON.RUN charges the Support Recipient a platform fee (8% of the Support amount, e.g. PLN 8 on PLN 100) out of the amount received – it is not added to the amount you pay (Fees and Payouts).
- The Support Recipient may be a private individual or a business. If they are not a business, consumer protection law may not apply to your relationship with them.
§ 3. Amounts and payment methods
- Currently the minimum Support amount is PLN 10 and the maximum single Support amount is PLN 500. The total Support from one Supporter to one Support Recipient may not exceed PLN 2,000 within any rolling 24-hour period (risk limit). BEON.RUN may change these values; the current values are always shown in the payment form. You choose the amount before paying; no fees are added to it.
- Payment methods (e.g. payment card, BLIK) depend on availability at Stripe and are shown in the Stripe payment form. You provide card and BLIK details to Stripe only.
- You receive the payment confirmation from Stripe (if you enter your e-mail address in the form). Support is considered made only after Stripe confirms the payment.
- Only a logged-in User with an active Account may give Support (creating an Account is free); watching Streams, Activities, the Support goal and the TOP list does not require an Account. Support may be unavailable if the Support Recipient has disabled it or their account is not verified or has been restricted.
§ 4. Message and name
- You can add a short message to your Support (up to 200 characters, no links). The message, together with the Support amount, may be displayed publicly in the Stream or on the Support Recipient's page and be visible to other Viewers.
- The message may be read aloud by text-to-speech (TTS) if the Support Recipient has enabled it. There is no obligation to read it out.
- Messages are moderated. Paying Support does not guarantee that the accompanying message will be published. The Support Recipient may hide a message attached to Support given to them, and BEON.RUN may hide any message that breaches the Terms or the Content Moderation Rules; a hidden message is not displayed or read out. Hiding a message alone does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund of the Support. Hiding a message does not change the payment, the Support goal progress or the TOP list – these follow only the financial state of the payment (e.g. a refund or a lost dispute reduces them).
- You can support under your Account's display name (a signature shown publicly) or anonymously – then the public sees “Anonymous” and your signature is not shown publicly or to the Support Recipient in the Service. Anonymous Support remains linked to your Account internally (the “My support” history, settlements, refund and dispute handling), but we never reveal your identity publicly or in the public API. As the payment is made on the Support Recipient's Stripe account, the Recipient may, however, see in their Stripe dashboard the transaction data collected by Stripe (e.g. the e-mail address entered in the payment form).
- If the Support Recipient has enabled a TOP Supporters list, your signature and the total amount of your Support may appear on it unless you choose anonymity. If the Support Recipient shows a Support goal, your amount counts towards the goal's progress. If you delete your Account, your signature and message are removed from public view (Privacy Policy, § 12).
- Do not include personal data, contact details or unlawful content in your message.
§ 5. Refunds
- Support is voluntary and generally non-refundable. A refund is possible in the case of an error (e.g. a double payment, an obvious mistake in the amount), an unauthorised payment, fraud, a justified complaint, or where the law requires it. A refund may be initiated by the Support Recipient and, in the cases described in the Refunds Policy, by BEON.RUN.
- The rules and how to request a refund are described in the Refunds and Chargebacks Policy. We do not discourage you from using your statutory rights or your bank's procedures.
- The right of withdrawal from a distance contract applies to the extent provided by mandatory provisions of law.
§ 6. Complaints and contact
- Report issues with how the Support feature works in the Service (e.g. the message, display, a button error) to BEON.RUN under the Complaints Procedure.
- Issues with the payment itself (charge, refund) can be reported to BEON.RUN – we will forward them to the Support Recipient and help you get in touch – or directly to the Support Recipient or Stripe.
§ 7. Personal data
The data processed in connection with Support is described in the Privacy Policy, § 7. We do not receive your card or BLIK details.
§ 8. Final provisions
Matters not covered here are governed by the Service Terms. The Polish version is binding.
