With BEON.RUN
Your phone with BEON.RUN streams video and position to viewers, while the watch shows you pace and heart rate without taking the phone out. Sending watch data directly to BEON.RUN is planned in the mobile app.
Description
The Forerunner 165 is for people who run regularly and want pace, distance, heart rate and a training plan on the wrist – without heavy equipment. The bright AMOLED screen stays readable in sunlight, and the controls combine a touchscreen with physical buttons, which helps in gloves and in the rain.
The watch records your route with GPS (plus GLONASS and Galileo), measures heart rate at the wrist and has a barometer for altitude. The manufacturer quotes up to 19 hours in GPS mode – enough for long runs and most mountain races.
With BEON.RUN: an integration is planned for the future mobile app. Today the watch works on its own with Garmin Connect – you can wear it while your phone runs the BEON.RUN stream.
